The MAHA initiative is currently funded under grants from the Helen Bader Foundation to Milwaukee AHEC and the YWCA respectively with a J.P. Morgan Chase grant for planning activities. Additional funding has been secured for implementation projects via the Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board’s award of Department of Workforce Development sector initiative and the United Way of Greater Milwaukee’s Employment and Training Initiative.
